In Australia, whilst the national competition is in recess the state leagues across the country dovetail the season of the Hyundai A-League to provide non-stop football action for 12 months of the year. The list of competitions that are generally accepted as the level below the A-League are the NSW Premier League, Victorian Premier League, WA All Flags State League, Queensland State League and others, and they are all reported on at The Football Sack.
