Both Manchester Clubs lose (and Chelsea) and Tottenham held:

EPL Results (Top 7) over the weekend:

Manchester United 2 Blackburn Rovers 3
Blackburn: Happy Birthday, Sir Alex Ferguson!

Swansea City 1 Tottenham Hotspur 1

Chelsea 1 Aston Villa 3
Chelsea: Bent without a peg....

Sunderland 1 Manchester City 0
Ji: Stuns City to give Sunderland 3 points....

Arsenal 1 QPR 0

Stoke 2 Wigan 2

On Friday: Liverpool 3 Newcastle United 1

2nd of January:
Fulham 2 Arsenal 1

Zamora zooms from zero to hero against Arsenal in the 90+2nd minute.

Bobby Zamora and Steve Sidwell both scored in less than 5 minutes for the home side to come back from 1-0 down to beat 5th place Arsenal at Craven Cottage. That tells the whole story, just by looking at all the results.... we are in for a mixed second half to this EPL season.
Everyone thought that this season was a two horse race(United and City) but it is not... with only 11 points between 1st and 6th place.
Only goal difference seperates City and United, having played 19 matches each and scored 102 goals between them.

Everyone wants European football (preferably Champions League) and it will be interesting to see who prevails and what happens in the current transfer window will be vital.
